The LED strip of LED patch beads refers to the assembly of LEDs onto a ribbon shaped FPC (Flexible Circuit Board) or PCB hard board, named after the shape of its product as a strip. Due to its long service life, energy conservation and environmental protection, it is popular in the decoration industry. LED light strips in LED patches sometimes encounter situations where the light strips are not lit. What is the reason for this?
 
Analysis of the reasons why the LED strip in the LED patch lamp bead does not light up:
 
1. LED flexible light belt has less solder and the solder joint is easy to fall off.
2. The solder joints of the LED flexible light strip have a faulty soldering phenomenon, and the vibration during transportation causes the solder joints to fall off, resulting in the light strip not being lit.
3. The soldering quality of LED flexible light strips is poor, and the solder joints of LED flexible light strips are prone to brittle cracking and peeling during bending.
4. When installing the LED flexible light strip, the bending angle is too large, causing the solder joint of the LED flexible light strip to separate from the copper foil, resulting in no lighting.
5. During the installation of the LED flexible light strip, the product is excessively pressed, resulting in damage to the LED flexible light strip chip or deformation and peeling of the solder joint that does not light up.
6. LED flexible light strips cannot be twisted during installation. If twisted, the solder joints of the LED flexible light strips will fall off, resulting in no lighting.
7. The solder resist layer of the LED flexible light strip circuit board is too thick, and the solder and circuit board cannot be completely fused during welding, which is also a phenomenon of faulty soldering.
8. Electrostatic burn out occurs because LEDs are electrostatic sensitive components, and failure to take proper electrostatic protection measures can lead to chip burn out.
9. The packaging and protection of LED flexible light strips are not complete, resulting in damage to the lamp beads during transportation.
