LED piranha gets its name because of its development trend like piranha. Other LED piranha are packaged, square, transparent resin packaging, with four pins, and there is an LED with a missing leg at the negative pole. With the increasing application of LED piranha, its service life has gradually become a topic of concern. People think it is necessary to effectively extend the service life of LED piranha lamp beads. 1. Welding
During the welding process, do not apply any external pressure on the lamp body, otherwise cracks may appear inside the LED, which will affect its internal gold wire connection and cause quality problems. Colloid must not be immersed in soldering tin. During welding, there should be at least 2 mm gap between the welding point and the lower edge of the colloid. After welding, it is necessary to take three minutes for the LED to return from high temperature to normal temperature. If soldering iron is used to weld the LEDs arranged linearly on the same PCB, do not weld the two pins of the same LED at the same time. The soldering iron below 30W is required for welding.
2. Forming
Do not form during or after welding. If necessary, the forming must be completed before welding. Remember that any extrusion of the resin may damage the gold wire inside the LED.
3. Cleaning
Do not use unknown chemical liquid to clean LED, because it may damage the surface of LED resin and even cause colloidal cracks. If necessary, please immerse the LED in alcohol or fluorine wrap at room temperature for cleaning, within one minute.
4. Storage
In order to prevent moisture, the piranha LED should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment with a storage temperature of - 40 ℃ -+100 ℃ and a relative humidity of less than 85%. The LED should be used within 3 months under its original packaging condition to avoid rust on the bracket. When the LED packaging bag is opened, it should be used up as soon as possible. At this time, the storage temperature is 5 ℃ - 30 ℃, and the relative humidity is below 60%.
In fact, a very important factor affecting the service life of piranha LED is its quality, and different packaging processes will have a considerable impact on the product quality. The LED lamp encapsulated with ordinary primer reduces the light decay by 76% under the same aging environment compared with the LED lamp encapsulated with Class A low-decay glue. Therefore, selecting the LED lamp made with good packaging technology will greatly extend its service life.
